What would you say to someone who didn’t have a funny bone in his body and told you he dreamed of being a comedian? You’ve got to be kidding, right? Luckily, Darren didn’t listen to his detractors. Instead he followed the guidance of his mentors. Even though stage fright was very real to him, Darren got on stage every chance he could and honed his skills. Nine years after his disastrous comedy debut in April 1992, Darren quit his day job and became a full-time speaker and comedian.
