The Judge’s Training Event will be held at the Shriner’s Children’ Hospital Auditorium, 2425 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento 95817 on Friday, March 30th (not the 23rd), from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm for live training and open discussion (pending District 39 approval). Strangely enough, that’s the only Friday in March (to my knowledge) when no contest is scheduled. At that time I would like to present each of you with a Judge’s Training Certificate of Completion and invite you all to enjoy an open candid discussion of judging procedures, rules & the rule book, the ballot, contest helpers, etc.
Once again, I would hope to select many of you as judges, alternates, ballot counters, etc. for our District 39 International Speech and Table Topics Contest to be held during the District 39 Spring Conference for 2018 (see “district39.org” for details). I truly believe we can send our best candidate to Toastmasters International’s “World Championship of Public Speaking for 2018” in Chicago this year and WIN!
