Enabling Javascript in your Web Browser

Browsers that support JavaScript allow you to take advantage of advanced features of web sites, including drop-down menus for easy site navigation. If you have problems viewing the drop-down menus, you probably have JavaScript turned off in your browser, or your browser doesn’t support JavaScript. If your browser is listed below, it supports JavaScript. If you use one of these browsers but still cannot see JavaScript features, JavaScript may be turned off in your browser.

To turn on JavaScript, follow the directions below:

Internet Explorer 6
  1. Click on Tools and select Internet Options from the top menu.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
  4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
  5. Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
  6. Click OK to leave Security Settings.
  7. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
  8. Refresh this page.
Mozilla Firefox
  1. Click on Tools and select Options from the top menu.
  2. Choose Content from the top navigation bar.
  3. Make sure that Enable JavaScript is checked.
  4. Click OK to leave Options.
  5. Refresh this page.
Mozilla Seamonkey
  1. Click on Edit and select Preferences.
  2. In the Category list, enpand the list in Advanced by clicking on either + or the arrow.
  3. In the list of items beneath Advanced, click Scripts & Plugins.
  4. To the right of the list, beneath Enable JavaScript for, click Navigator so that a check appears.
  5. Click OK to leave Preferences.
  6. Refresh this page.
Opera
  1. On the Tools menu, click Preferences.
  2. Click Content in the Preferences list.
  3. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
  4. Click the JavaScript Options button to open the JavaScript Options box.
  5. Check the boxes that you want to allow.
  6. Click OK to leave Javascript Options.
  7. Click OK to leave Preferences.
  8. Refresh this page.
Safari
  1. In the menu bar, click on Safari.
  2. In the drop-down menu, click on Preferences.
  3. Click on Security in the top row of the new window.
  4. Check the checkbox for Enable JavaScript.
  5. Click on the red dot in the upper left corner to leave preferences.
  6. Refresh this page.
Konqueror
  1. Select Configure Konqueror from the Settings menu.
  2. Click Java & JavaScript.
  3. Click the JavaScript tab.
  4. Check Enable JavaScript globally.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Refresh this page.
