In this session, President Page will share three ways that you and I can help our club build back stronger.

During the beginning stages of the pandemic, we quickly learned how resourceful and resilient our clubs can be. We rapidly changed course to online meetings and opened a new world of possibilities. While we continue to honor the rich traditions of Toastmasters we must also shape our future as we stand on the cusp of our second century. The world is undergoing a speaking revolution, and we are uniquely poised to take advantage of it. It is no longer a matter of when someone will have to speak or present publicly, but when and through what medium.

To read Margaret Page’s bio is to encounter a leader who has led through both good times and significant challenges. From business ownership at age 21 to her role to Toastmasters International President, Margaret has been rising to challenges her entire career.

Distinguished Toastmaster Margaret Page joined Toastmasters in 2003 after relocating to the Sunshine Coast from Las Vegas, Nevada. Margaret had the privilege of serving District 21 in British Columbia as District Governor in 2012-2013. Under Margaret’s leadership, District 21 achieved Distinguished status, and its thrilled members joined Margaret on the award stage at the International Convention in Cincinnati.

Margaret now proudly serves on the Toastmasters International Board of Directors as International President.  She has consistently observed the power of Toastmasters to help members find their voice, attain their dream job, and build inner confidence. Toastmasters transforms people’s lives, enabling richer experiences. The organization provides members with the communication and leadership tools to build stronger organizations and communities.

A Toastmaster by night and award-winning maverick by day, Margaret is a highly credentialed etiquette expert and a transformative executive coach.
