Fellow Toastmasters,
If you’re looking for an opportunity to practice speech judging and evaluations (with the added bonus of helping out local youth), on Sunday, March 18, 2018 (12:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.), Sacramento County 4-H is having its Presentation Day. This is an event that I volunteer at annually and I hope you join me. Also, pass this onto other Toastmasters if you’re interested.
At 4-H Presentation Day, youth aged 5-19 give the following presentation either as individuals or in terms:
- Demonstration
- Illustrated Talk
- Science or Engineering Presentation
- Educational Talk Display
- Informative Prepared Speech
- Persuasive Prepared Speech
- Impromptu Speech (Topic list can be found here)
- Interpretive Reading
- Share the 4-H Fun Skits
- Cultural Arts
