TLI, Recognition, Roast!

IN-PERSON ONLY EVENT DESCRIPTION: 

• Morning Session
  • 9:00 am: Registration and Light Continental Breakfast
  • 10:00 am: Club Office-Specific Training
  • 11:00 am: Conducting a Youth Leadership Program
  • Registration for the Morning Session ends at 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 8.

• Afternoon Session
  • 12:30 pm: Lunch & Keynote by Donny Crandell, DTM, AS
  • 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Finding New Members/Open House
  • 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Pathways: Back to Basics
  • 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm:  Sponsoring/Mentoring/Coaching Clubs
  • 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm:  Recognition
  • Registration for the Afternoon Session ends at NOON on Friday, November 3. You MUST register to attend and receive lunch.

• Dinner and Roast
  • 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Dinner and Roast of Immediate Past District 39 Director, Denise Gutherz, DTM.
  • Cost: $45.00.
  • Registration ends at noon on Friday, November 3.
  • Tickets are purchased through PayPal. Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.

Dietary restrictions for lunch and dinner must be provided to Marcy Johnson by noon Pacific Friday, November 3rd.

Club officer training consists of one hour of office-specific training and one additional hour during a Toastmasters Leadership Institute or Club Officer Training session.  For this event, credit is earned by attending the office-specific training at 10:00 am along with any Enrichment Session or the Keynote address.

Clubs earn Distinguished Club Program Training (goal #9) when “A minimum of four club officer roles (are) trained during each of the two training periods.”  District 39 Club Officers need to attend two (2) hours of training for a minimum of four officer roles during each training period (Summer and Winter). This requirement applies even if your club elects club officers on an annual basis.  Note also the requirement is for club officer roles trained; someone holding more than one officer role will receive credit for all officer roles held in all clubs.
